More about Morrisville
Morrisville borders both the Research Triangle Park and Raleigh-Durham International Airport.  With easy access to major highways and nearby Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, Morrisville is attractive to businesses and retailers.  More than 800 businesses are located in Morrisville, and The New York Times has called the town one of the best places in America to start and grow a company.  Morrisville is home to the largest retail outlet center in the Triangle, Prime Outlets, which has more than 50 manufacturer-owned outlet stores.   Lake Crabtree County Park and Chatham Hill Winery, the first winery in the Triangle, are also located in the town.  People move to Morrisville for many reasons including affordable housing, excellent schools and high qualify of life.

Housing
The real estate market offers a wide selection of housing to suit any lifestyle.  From urban dwellings to historic neighborhoods to brand-new subdivisions and everything in between, there are many housing opportunities and price ranges available for renting or buying.  The area is more affordable than many other regions with similar economies.

Education
From preschool to graduate school, Wake County residents understand that excellent education is at the heart of a strong economy and a vibrant community.  Families are fortunate to choose from award-winning public and private schools for their children.

The Triangle area is unusually rich in educational opportunities and is home to no less than 12 quality colleges and universities.  As one of the three “corners” of the Research Triangle, the academic network begins with North Carolina State University in Raleigh and is enhanced by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University and North Carolina Central University in Durham.

The Triangle area enjoys a temperate subtropical climate with moderate temperatures during spring, fall and winter.  With an average of 220 days of sunshine each year there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy the recreational opportunities that abound year-round.  The area has several large natural areas and extensive greenway and trail systems as well as seven lakes that offer boating, water skiing and fishing.  Golfers can choose from any number of public and private courses.  Sports fans have a lot to cheer about in the Triangle.  From hockey and basketball to football and baseball, both amateur and professional sports are alive and well in the area.

Wake County holds a treasure trove of art, music and other cultural delights.  Theatrical performances grace a number of stages throughout the area and a number of performing arts groups showcase their talents in the outdoor venues and amphitheaters.  It is home to The North Carolina Symphony, a full-time, professional orchestra with 65 musicians. The area also has some of the finest museums in the Southeast.

The entire state of North Carolina deserves the nickname of “Variety Vacationland.”  Some of the best coastal beaches on the Atlantic seaboard are just two hours away.  The mountains, with more than 200 miles of the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and Appalachian Trail, nine ski resorts and 15 white-water rivers, are within a four-hour drive.
